Had a 2016 for 36,000 miles and it never had any issues. I had a 2010 prior and sold it at 120,000 miles. Very reliable car and had minimal rust after 9 years. Current 2018 hasn’t had any issues in 13k. This gen of mazda3 has terrible road noise. At least here in Texas, 75mph in Mazda3 was a nightmare.
