Car US spec 2014 Audi A6 C7 3.0 TDI. Location: U.S.A. Current mileage: 67k miles. Timing chain rattle since: bought the car. with 44k miles and it’s been doing it since I bought it, not sure for how long before. Oil change interval: every 10k until 40k Miles, after which i switched to a 5-6.5k interval.

Hiall I’m looking for some advice, I have a 3L tdi CAPA engine and it’s currently out the car. The engine has 160,000 miles on it, i have read that at 200,000 miles the timing chain should be done. I have took the gearbox off and removed timing chain covers from the rear of the engine.
